Two words "Aloe Vera".
Get some gell on a sunburn right away, and keep putting it on. It will help the healing, reduce the pain and reduce peeling/flaking. Get the gell as pure as possible (an Aloe plant is actualy the best, you can squeeze the juice right out and apply it) it should be clear. Watch out for the advertising trick of "100% pure aloe vera gell" that means nothing because the gell can be made out of anything. Read the ingredients.

I hate sunburns. When I was younger I used to be able to stay in the sun and I would be fine. However, I have spent the better part of the past few years indoors. As a result, I get a sunburn if I am outside for a mere 10 minutes.
