Need I say more.

I was driving around look for a park to chill at with my friend. I'm going, going, and right after I turn my head for a second, a skunk strolls in front of the car. I swerve trying to avoid it but end up being sprayed by it, but I did make it pay, by running over it. Now, even after having washed the car right away, my car still stinks!

What kind of animal uses stink as a defensive mechanism. Damn the skunk, damn it to hell.

Sorry about the car... but what is with skunks anyway, first the dogs, and now your car!

Well, I got my car detailed for $10, cause a friend hooked me up, but the smell is still emmanating from within the engine block, so I'm thinking of getting it steam cleaned. Jeez, I'm amazed at what a detail will do for a car. I got him to spray the cherry fragrance, but all I smell is the Armor-All and a faint hint of skunk. The smell is just nauseating. Anyways, hopefully the wretched animal is being tormented in hell for what he did to my car.

Amusing StonedWheat
I always like post that put a smile on my face
I'd love to see someone smear tomato juice all over his car to get the smell of skunk off. That would be great. Please post pictures if you try it

Well of course you know that I am not a big fan of skunks either. I was getting ready to blow the hell out of the skunks living in my shed, but my roomates don't want me to kill them. Atleast not in the way I had planned before, which was to close up all exits on the shed, and then gas them so they're trapped. Do you guys think that is inhumane? I don't want to kill them either but they have sprayed my dawgs twice in a week. I say that calls for an all out no-holds-barred attack.

What do you all think?

I'm just glad that I was able to hear the satisfying crunch that my car made as it meted out it's own revenge on the skunk pancake. I feel sad for the animal control officer that ends up cleaning that mess up. Imagine the smell of a rotting skunk and looking down on it's crushed, mangled corpse.

Thumbs up No More Smell!!!

The stink has finally disippated. Altough a picture of my car covered with tomato juice would be one for the books, I just let the sun and it's harmful UV rays dissolve away the organic stink of the skunk.

I guess if I were Catholic I would pray the skunk be let out of purgatory, but I still hope it burns in hell.

Talking

You should be careful with the chloroform if you decide to use it. Chloroform will eat through plastics and too much will probably kill the skunk anyways.

Tomato juice would work fine on a person or dawg, but I would hesitate to use it on a car. Tomatoes are very acidic and it could damage the paint. If someone does try it, get it off as quickly as possable.
What's the big deal, skunks don't smell that bad. Admitidly I used to live in Morgan Hill CA and I would smell them every day, so I got used to it. Everybody else cringes and goes "phew!!!" when they smell a skunk, I just take a deep whif and say "Ahhh, reminds me of home!".
It's not really that bad.

I used to live in cupertino against the hillside...skunks galore, quails that are stupid enough to walk to the middle of the street, possums and deer, and stupid tech bandwagon outsiders....those things all react with the residents in one form or another.

I once saw a Lexus LS400 hit a deer...not fun.
I'd been much more satisfied with that car hittin' a wannabe techie.

I used to live right along the 280 and went to Homestead High. I don't remember all too many skunks there. But then, I didn't expect to see a skunk behind Cerritos Auto Square. <sings>605 on South street, Cerritos Auto Square</sings>
