S; Computer Trouble plus more

How is this for suckage. I have a Micron system which has had various problems ever since I got it. So I have called up and kvetched about it lots of times. Ever since I got the computer my burner wasnt working properly. They had me try to reinstall the software and upgrade the software, but nothing helped. SO I called them about my latest problem, the power supply, and complained about the cdburner yet again. They sent me a new power supply and installed it (hey why should I do the work if I dont have to) and told me that I had to reformat my entire computer and reinstall everything again. So after much ado about nothing, I hooked up an intranet between two of my computers, copied everything, and then reformatted the computer. I reinstalled Windows and the Easy CD creator 5.0, then tried to transfer everything back. Everything was somehow corrupted in the transfer and wouldnt work. I managed to save some of the data, but have to reinstall a sh|t ton of software. My computer wont recognize my printer, even though the printer is hooked up the same way so I now have to go through and trouble shoot a bunch of stuff. Gotta love that. That was just Thursday night.

Friday I get in the car to head up for a friends bachelor party. 8 hours later, after our one friend wouldnt shut up ever, we arrive to find out that the party is only 6 of us gran total, camping near a trailer park (no offense to any trailer people) It was dark by the time we got there, and I found out that my tent had holes in it from my younger brothers last camping trip. He thought he burned it a little, but the holes were the size of dinner plates. There was a great fishing river, but we couldnt fish since the Salmon were running! We could see the fish. PLus by the time we got there, 4 of the 6 guys including the bachelor, were drunk as a skunk. Me and my other friend were the only ones who had not started drinking and I was too damn far behind for it to be worth it. So the drunks made it for a few hours before the first 2 dropped. Then the other 2 wouldnt shut up till 4 am or so, guess who.

Saturday after about 3 hours of sleep, it was time for undercooked food, bad personal hygeine, and paintball. Lots of fun, but two problems. First, apparently this paintball course was only played by a large group of regulars who had more mechanizms than Carter had liver pills. Second, they all cheated!!! They wouldnt quit when they were hit, the refs pulled them all a few times, but other than that we had to deal with "terminator" syndrome. So then we had a quiet evening with everyone nursing their injuries, and only 2 people were in the mood to drink.

Sunday we left.

Then I had to work today for the boss from hell. I would honestly back up and run over the son of a biatch again if I hit him. Just a mean crotchity old man who needs to retire. Too bad I need the money.

So that is what my last few days have been. Fun isnt it.

I have a firm and fast rule for batchlor parties. Only go if there will be nekid women. Otherwise it is like any other party that was put together hastily and will attempt to overachieve. In other words doomed to failure.

Make your brother buy you a new tent. If he won't, beat him senseless. It will make you feel better.

As for the "Terminators"... Find every paint ball web site with a forum that you can. Let the entire universe know what luzers they are. Hopefully this will stop some people from going there, and it will expose the people from that field as cheaters wherever they go. If they ever try to play tournament then the refs (assuming they have heard about it, and they will if you try hard enough) will watch them like hawks.

You already had a good idea on what to do with the boss. But if that isn't going to work, maybe you can try talking to him about how you feel he treats you. If that doesn't work, talk to his boss. Failing that there is the Labor Board. If an employer is treating you abusively you can file a greivance.

Hmmm....that is true but I have had more than my fair share of car problems when my last one blew up.
