Doh, Sucky Thanksgiving
This really bites. I've done nothing but sit on my ass all day at the computer because a) there is nothing open in town, b) my husband was working on the computer all day, & c) we aren't doing Thanksgiving until tomorrow with his family. *sigh* I miss my family's Thanksgiving traditions that I have done for 23 years straight. I honestly don't remember missing one, although I know we have had to miss at least one, since my brother's birthday is today and so I'm sure in 1979, it was close to Thanksgiving, too... Oh well.
Glad everyone else is having a good day! ![]()

Thanks.
It's going a little better. Hubby & I talked and at 8:40 or so, he came out and we sat on the couch watching ER & then CSI which I had recorded. We are getting ready to watch the 2nd CSI before bed, so... ![]() |

Sorry to hear about that.
Once when I was living with my uncle's family, during the Thanksgiving break, they left me and my brother alone at the house. The two of us weren't going to cook anything, nothing was opened, not even a Jack in the Box. So we survived off of water and whatever snacks were lying around the house. Bad Thanksgivings are real depressing.

sorry you had a crappy day jenny.
my cousing realized a bit too late that no liquor stores were open and had a hissy fit because she forgot to get wine. so we had an alcohol free thanksgiving. the day, which i expected to be hellish, actually turned out to be ok once i set myself into ignore suzanne (the annoying cousin) mode. |
