NSS: Being Able to Do Something
Since my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer last year, I felt like there wasn't a whole lot I could do to help. She had my love and support and I was there for her when she needed me. But I still felt completely helpless.
A couple of weeks ago, I found something to do to help. Its called the Avon Breast Cancer 3 Day. In May, I'll join thousands of other people who want to help and walk 60 miles, from Fitchburg to Boston in 3 days to raise money for breast cancer research and treatments. |

Awesome! We do something similar every year here, except not 60 miles. Just laps around the high school track. (That'd be a lot of laps for 60 miles! It's 4 laps per mile! LOL)
