NSS: Being Able to Do Something

Since my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer last year, I felt like there wasn't a whole lot I could do to help. She had my love and support and I was there for her when she needed me. But I still felt completely helpless.
A couple of weeks ago, I found something to do to help. Its called the Avon Breast Cancer 3 Day. In May, I'll join thousands of other people who want to help and walk 60 miles, from Fitchburg to Boston in 3 days to raise money for breast cancer research and treatments.

Awesome! We do something similar every year here, except not 60 miles. Just laps around the high school track. (That'd be a lot of laps for 60 miles! It's 4 laps per mile! LOL)
