Thumbs down SS: Wind blew my motorcycle over

Suckage: Came home from COSC lab today, noticed my bike parked in a different position, as if somebody moved them to point them into the wind. Got closer, and saw all these scratches on my bike. Looked closer, and most of the body panels are broke and my pipe is all scratched up. Looked at the other side, blinker broken off more damage. I'm like WTF? Looked at my cousins bike which was parked next to mine, red paint on his white pearl (from my bike) and his tank is dinged up pretty bad. Right then my cousin comes out and says what happened. He picked both bikes up from the ground, mine halfway down this little hill.

Damnit.

Got the estimate. $1500 in parts alone.

Eek.

You must have a pretty good job, your in college right? You own a SuperCharged Cobra and an F4i? And your bike got $1500 worth of damage and all you can say is "Eek?"

Eek is what I said when the saw the estimate. is what I about did when I saw my bike.

I do go to college. I have a YZF-600R, the F4i is my cousin's bike. The $1500 in damage is going to be paid for by the insurance company, + whatever labor. I figure I can pay myself to do labor so I shouldn't have to pay much on the deductable, which is $250.

And the job thing... I work in the oilfield over the summer. Five day, 70 hour weeks (84 hour weeks if we work saturday). $13.50/hour and overtime is time and a half (anything over 40 hours). During school I do web sites for departments on campus ($30/hour) and work for an online business that is based out of here. So yeah, decent job.
