wooo hooo! i'm happy.

i finally won an auction on eBay yesterday for the DVD player i wanted (panasonic rp56 -- i tried to get it from hifi.com but they ran out of them).

i went a little higher on the auction than i wanted to (by only about $5, so not too bad). anyway, i just called to complete my credit card order for the sale, and found out that shipping and handling was free. in the auction description, it said that UPS Ground was $9.63.

so i ended up getting the player, shipped, for $177.50, which was only $2.50 more than it would have cost at hifi.com. so i'm happy
