SNSS: my new laser printer

w00t! i have my very own laser printer now.

it's a brother HL-1440 that i ordered from dell last week with the 20% off deal (snagged it for $238 shipped).

i looked at a few other printers, but brother has the lowest cost of operation among any laser printer in its class along with better print quality and print speeds. with the deal at dell, it was impossible to pass it up.

it works great. and it's just so great to have my own laser. i've spent most of my life sneaking free laser printing from various employers and educational institutions. now, i don't have to worry about that....i can just print to my heart's content

just received my Magicolor 2200... friggin heavy bastard.. its still sitting there unopened.. need someone else to help me move that sucker down several flights of stairs..

my brother also has the same one in his office, but says the color matching isn't too good.. and now he's offering to buy it from me..

gah, i just want a damn good printer dangit!

from my experience with color lasers, it's somewhat difficult to find one that does excellent color matching.

i don't really know what brands are good though (i would have assumed that minoltas would be good

)

sell that one to your bro and then find one that works better for yourself
