Just a quick question.. Why didnt you just call the insurance company and find out if they had recieved your check yet. If they had but didnt cash it yet you would have been fine. If they had not recieved it yet you called to let them know it was sent out already.
Most if not all business grant extensions if you call ahead. If they would not grant you an extension then I would have done what you did with 1 change. I would have called the bank and canxed that check that you sent the first time and then called the insurance company to tell them what you did to avoid them charging you for a returned check charge.
