SS: Computer dead

Sigh...my home computer has died. It was locking up in windows...and now it locks up booting up. Even in safe mode it locks. Scandisk and a surface scan has failed booting up in DOS.

So suckage...it's going to be hard to test my cable internet connection in my new place.

More news in the technical/hardware/software forums. I just wanted to point how this sucks.

Either, I guess this is the "semi-bright side" of having your computer die on ya. (Hopefully, you didn't lose too much un-retrievable data.)

The hard drive was at least 3 years old. The bright side is that I did get on the 60 gig 7200 RPM drive at Staples from last week. So it should come in today. What timing huh?
