Cool NSS: The Boss...

Last night I went to see Springsteen in concert yet again. What a great show! Completely blown away. Now I'm thinking of driving a state over to see him again in a couple of weeks.

I know most of you are too young to be too familiar with him but there is a really good reason he has earned the reputation of being one of the greatest live performers ever. If you get a chance to attend a show jump all over it. I promise you won't regret it.

BRUCE! BRUCE! BRUCE!

The Set List...

December 2 / Atlanta, GA / Philips Arena
The Rising
Lonesome Day
The Ties That Bind
Night
Empty Sky
You're Missing
Waitin' on a Sunny Day
No Surrender
Worlds Apart
Badlands
She's the One
Mary's Place
Countin' on a Miracle
Thunder Road
Into the Fire

First Encore: Where the Bands Are
Glory Days
Born to Run

Second Encore:My City of Ruin
Born in the U.S.A.
Land of Hope and Dreams
Dancing in the Dark

I saw the MSG show back in August and it was as strong, if not stronger, than any of his shows I've ever seen (about two dozen since 1984) -- even better than the reunion tour. There was a sense of renewal and rebirth to this show that ran all the way through it. At 2:30 it was a bit shorter than any other show I'd seen but palpably more powerful.

I can't wait until he's back in the spring.

Merlin's the first person to pick up on that (it's been that way for quite some time). I sort of figured there weren't many fans here as it seems like a generally younger crowd.

i picked up on it a couple months ago.

i'm not a big fan of the boss (he's kind of before my time, and i haven't really gotten into his music yet), but i do know music lore enough to recognize your address

but, there usually isn't a great way to point it out.....
