NSS: Winning a ticket lottery
I am stoked. For whatever reason, Phish decided to switch the way it did its preorder tickets, from mail orders where it was first come first served and they looked to see how long you had been a member, to an online system.
The online system didnt want any membership information (to the schive) and didnt take into account when you placed your order, so long as it was during the window. Once you placed your name in, you were entered into a lottery for tickets and the results came today. I GOT MY TICKETS!!! I would have been really pissed if I didnt get them. Especially since my younger step brother, didnt read the fine print about orders and decided to try to have the tickets sent to the same address that I was sending mine to. According to the fine print, multiple orders to the same address will be filled last or disregarded.

Yes Phish is a band, who hasnt been on tour since Oct 2000, so their fans are rabid. Even when they were always touring they sold out, so getting tickets is really hard. On top of that they changed their preorder tickets and many fans couldnt get them, including my step brother.
