SS: This just isnt funny
So I went up to San Fran area for the weekend with my Fiance to visit her family and as an added bonus I was going to get to see two of my childhood friends. Now everything went well and we had a really good time, but her Grandparents guest room has the bed from hell. I mean, it is absolutely THE WORST bed I have ever slept in, and that is saying alot. I have slept on more comfortable rocks out on Mount Hermon. Seriously, rocks were more comfortable. The bed is so soft you sink down to the floor... as such, i havent slept well since last wednesday.
So as a result, my finace ended up throwing out her back because it was so strained by sleeping in that bed that when she sneezed her back went out. This presented a problem because I really cant drive without pain due to my ankle and with her back out she couldnt really drive either. So this led to us taking shifts driving in pain for the entire trip back to San Diego..and when we got here, we looked like two old fuddy duddies - that by itself isnt funny. Now what really sucks is I picked up some non-paerils at Ghiradellis. It was the large container and ran about $14. So I have done this every single time we go up there and never had any problems with getting them back. So tonight when I unpack them my lovely non paerils have turned into a giant block of chocolate!  I guess the temperature in the trunk must have gotten pretty hot during the trip. It wasnt like we were sitting still, we were moving non-stop with the exception of gas and bathroom stops. So the fact that they melted is beyond me.

As for the chocolate, don't ehy have a Ghiradelli's in SD in Gaslamp? |

As for Merlin's comment - Its my left ankle with a manual transmission, so the cruise control really doesnt help. Once I got up to speed, so long as there is no traffic that ankle just sits there. The problem is, the I-5 corridor is just chock full of traffic....especially right outside of SF and LA. |
