Person pissed me off today.

It was at a Judo Tournament, the State Games in fact. This one guy in my weight class was competing against a member from my club. The guy tries to choke our guy, but all he has is the lapel of the gi against our guys jaw. Our guy of course turns his head so even if he tried, he wouldn't be able to choke. The guy doesn't even try to get the lapel on his neck, he just pulls it against his jaw putting tramendous stress on it. our guy taps out of course and then procedes to yell and spit out a tooth.

That right there made me rather made at him because one of the main principles of judo is mutual benafit and welfare. ie: One of our main responsabilities is your opponents safety.

He did afterwards go up to him and apologize, and he was a white belt. so I figure, "ok, he's not so bad."

Now I go against him a little later and he does THE SAME DAMN THING! Makes me wonder if he should be competing at all. Anyways, I realize he's doing the same thing when I'm feeling my jaw move and feeling pain, so i tap out cause I don't want a missing tooth. At this point I wanted to hurt him. badly. As soon as I realized what he was doing, the expression on my face went from 'carefree' to 'I'm going to ****ing kill you.' So when I got up and back to the line for the ref to say the other guy won because I tapped out, I glanced at the ref; never have I seen a ref looking so suprised, thought he probably doesn't see the "i'm gonna ****ing kill you" facial expression everyday. Same goes for my opponent. Apparently he didn't know he did the same thing again. I guess either he doesn't know the difference between the neck and chin, or he doesn't know putting pressure on the jaw won't choke a person; either way, he's a ****ing moron who shouldn't be competing.

So while cooling off, trying to get the homocidal tendancies out (I don't wanna be like him went competing), the guy had another match with another one of our members. Guess what happened. Nope, not the same thing, but gave him a bloody nose. That was it for me. No one has pissed me off this much in many MANY years. I just can't tolerate peoples disregard for their opponents safety. It's like he doesn't even think about it when he's on the matt.

grr....... but this has inspired me to get much MUCH better at Judo. So when I 'visit' the area and 'stumble' across their club, I'll kick all their asses at it..... one day (it'll be a while though

).

anyways, one plus today was I got to meet a guy who will probably compete in the next olympics for Judo.

Anyways, I've gotten too angry over this and probably saying too many things out of anger.
