NSS: my day and my bosses
today is cool.
lemme splain...i get a pretty good salary. in addition, if i meet certain goals, i get a yearly bonus. it ranges from about $8,500 to $17,000 and i get it at the end of the year. or at least when the year's results come in. a couple of the measureables were pretty much unattainable and i was going to have to scramble to make even the minimum. (if i don't meet 85% of the goal, i don't get sheet!) we had a review of the balanced scorecard (goal sheet) and my bosses recognized that some of the goals were unfair and had been established without much thought. so they took them off! booya! also, our department brought in our wives, husbands, or s/o and our leadership is explaining to them exactly what we (corporately and individually) do. (and why we're always away from home lol ) they are also going over our benefits package so we don't have to explain it anymore. of course, now my wife knows that if she kills me, she'll be very rich. anyhow, here's the agenda for the rest of the day. 11:30 AM Golfers depart for Gull Lake Country Club Your Tee-times are listed on the attachment starting at 1:10 PM Boaters depart for the tour boat The boat will depart at 1:00 PM, once we get going we will start our lunch buffet. There will be hors d'oeuvres and beverages available upon boarding. 12:15 PM Lunch buffet Grill Room, for Golfers There is a changing room and lockers for changing to golf 12:30 PM Boaters board Lady Gull Diva 1:00 PM Lady leaves dock 1:10 PM Golfers Tee off – Schedule of tee-times attached 1:30 PM Boaters have lunch on Lady Gull Diva 5:30 PM Golfers finish - Boaters return 6:00 PM Hors d’oeuvres on Quarter Deck 6:30 PM Dinner at the Country Club HAVE FUN !! i believe i will. on the company dime. aaahh....i love being in sales.

Now if only you could convince your fellow sales people not to sell products that don't exist, or to promise results that can't be delivered, then the folks back in the office will love you being in sales, too!
