They don't suck as bad as Aspire tranmissions do....
My dad, being the thoughtful guy he is helped me get one when I was going through my divorce. I am still paying on the thing (it is a 95) and the transmission is going. It will top out at 45 mph!!!! OOOOOOHHHHHH!! The speed! I can't take it!!
(anyone need a really large paperweight?) hehe

Yeesh! An Aspire. I guess you really musta gotten cleaned out! But tell me, I'm actually really curious, are those UPS trucks hard to drive? Is it kinda weird having no doors, or is it sort of just not a problem? And do you take that bad boy on the freeway?

I actually don't drive the trucks. I support the shipping software. So I sit in 'cubeville' all day.... Well until recently when I started training new hires.

Oh and Apex.. I meant to come back here and say I hope you made it back okay : ) RL got the best of me the past couple weeks.

Want to hear something truly dumb? The brakes on the 4-runner (even the latest model) are lifted directly from the @$#@#% Toyota Camry. We're talking a HUGE difference in weight here. If you live on a hill, you're almost guaranteed warped brakes, even if you cool em properly.

my roommate and I both own 4-runners and a big problem we noticed with 4 runners are blown out tail lights. My tail light first blew out when the car was bout a year old. I immediately replaced it and the light blew out 3 days later. My roomate experieced the same problem. It could be a problem with the electrical system, or toyota lights just suck.

Two weeks ago my friends got into a pissing contest about whose truck was better. So the idiots tied a metal chain to their hitches and fulled against each other on soft dirt.

A Toyota Tundra vs a Ford F150 - both had the top engines. The Toyota was getting pulled backwards, so the driver floored it and lost all traction. The F150 ended up accelerating out of control and then slammed on the brakes. The Tundra slammed into the F150. I laughed my ass off.

End result is two trucks with messed up tails and a 8 week old Tundra with a damaged tranny

Lesson learned - stay out of pissing contests.

LOL I read that to my husband before he went to work and he & I both think it's classic! If only it was on video, it would win $10,000!

I've got a photo of both trucks after the accident. I'll get it next time I go back to my apartment. Yeah, I almost sh*t my pants when they hit each other. Fortunately they were good friends and didn't get ballistic or anything about it. But they kept on arguing about the trucks with their tailgates all mangled up there.

Chevy or Dodge could use that for a commercial haha. Nothing pulls stumps like a good ole Ford F-350 though. That thing could tow a house!
