Naw, I always love a nice 75 degrees. It's OK maybe for a few days in the 90s and such, but when you live in Pomona, it's just HOT! Man, my car's external temp was reading 105 yesterday around 1 PM. And I had to move stuff out of the apartment. Damn it was hot!

A black car with leather doesn't make the situation any easier too! But gotta love those sunroofs to let out heat

Costal SoCal, one of the nicest place to be during a heat wave. Clean beaches, nice weather, beautiful girls, what more can you ask for?

interesting water comments in this string, but yeah...all california water circulates down along the western coast of north america from alaska. You tihnk northern california water is cold? you should try the water in alaska. I was up there like 5 years ago for 3 weeks with my grandparents (the best three weeks a kid could have; 1000 miles from parents being spoiled rotten by still active grandparents), and for the fourth of july, they had this big deal in the city where all the kids went and jumped into the ocean...off of a shelf of ice. Beat that! Now that was cold water! But yeah, i love coastal SoCal. We've got the best climate in the world. We're near the mountains to snowboard, the beach to surf, the cities to have fun, the deserts to dirt bike...we've got it made in the sun here. (my favorite is still the snowboarding though). And for those of you complaining about the heat, i was wearing a long sleeve shirt and pants today and was completely comfortable.

Come on colossus, you've got to cherish this weather while it's down. Most of us will be begging for this when it's Summer. Freaken days after days of triple digits temps. I miss my gloomy, windy, smog-free San Francisco.

Thumbs up

HERE HERE! i totall agree with Sjarred! I LOVE SF-Bay Area! It's SO clean and the people are SO much nicer! Sure it can get a little chilly while up there... but mang(!) it's pleasant. When i go up north it feels like i'm in a whole new place! the air is clean (i can breathe), there's space to roam, NICE traffic (believe it or not...), AND hey, it's Silicon Valley! what more can you ask for? hahaha... i miss home.

THREE MORE DREADED WEEKS!!! until this is ALL over! FINALS!!! BUGGER! to the crows with them!

ahem... this lacking sleep and driving the WORLD to and from campus today is quite draining.... BUT! i got a mess of stuff at the UCLA sale for a whoppin' $31!! it was very nice. (if any of you can head out to UCLA, GO. there's not TOO much stuff left that's dirt cheap, but nevertheless, it's 20% off. have fun.)

okay, i go now... to drive YET another friend from campus.... adieu.

Hey, I resent that typical sterotype of San Franciscans. Just because I thought Tom Cruise was pretty good looking in MI 2 doesn't mean jack.....uuhhh...crap.......did I just say that out loud.......forget what I said earlier. uuhh...go Raiders...yeah that's right.

starving...if you really need to get drunk...come to my dorm room (on our "dry" campus), but i don't doubt that you have your own stash. My roommate went and drank all of my alcohol a while back, so he is going to replaceit with like 5 full bottles, so i'm stoked.

Anybody been to Stockton, CA?? I think that place is worst than So Cal. in the Summer. In the Summer it can have triple digit temps for days, but in the Winter, the temp can drop into the 20's and 30's. Now that's a big change in temperature.

Hmm, jumping off a shelf of ice into the ocean. Lemme ask you something, how many days until they reemerge?

Here's kind of a funny fact. If you see any of those penguin documentaries on TV, you'll notice that they all crowd around the edge of the ice shelf. They bump and crowd until one falls off, then they all stop and look in. If the one that falls in doesn't get immediately eatten by a killer whale or something, the rest will assume the water is safe and then go in. Hate to be that one bad-balanced penguin, eh?
