That sucks to hear, I swear management is like, "except for ourselves, let us reverse the list". I usually get screwed on my days off because they never put them in a row so i can go on a instate vacation. Your idea is a really good one, just go to each person and ask what they want of the left overs.

Heh, note how the say it is "based" on seniority? And not it is assigned "by" seniority?
It's seniority and how much they like people. Unfortuinately for you like counts more than seniority. Sounds like you didn't suck up enough over the last 6 months. They might also have modifiers based on children that need caring for, medical disabilities, carpoolin requirements and minority status. Then again, somone might have just given you a little "helping hand" on your selections and screwed you over. Who hates you? Good luck in your futile efforts to right this wrong.
