S/NSS: When all your planning is for naught

A few months ago my best man gave me a choice between two locals for my bachelor party. Las Vegas, NV or Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. This was a tough decision, because Vegas is always a good time and a great place for a bachelor party. The catch....my younger brother is only 18 so he wouldnt have been able to go. Cabo on the other hand....well its going to cost more to get there, require a flight, and probably result in less people attending. Plus, I had never been there, so it would be a true experience.

I decided that I would rather have my younger brother there and that Cabo would be the way to go. Sure enough I soon was told by a bunch of the guys that they wouldnt be able to go.

Then it started going really south. One of my grooomsmen couldnt attend since he was going to be flying back from a month in India when we are going. OK, 5 out of 6 isnt bad. Then, I find out that another one cant go (4 out of 6) Then my brother got his grades from the first semester when he as home for winter break. My father wasnt very happy with his grades and told him in no uncertain terms that he wouldnt be allowed to go. (My brother figured he would go anyway...until he realized that his passport was at home in Florida)

CRAP - down to 3 out of 6 groomsmen, and the primary reason for the choice of location is not able to go anymore. To top it all off, many of my friends who wanted to go werent able to because of the location, so there are only going to be about 7 or 8 of us. (that I know of...but no one will tell me anything)

If it's not too late, SWITCH back to Vegas!

I recently went to a bp in Atlantic City and it was awesome. Vegas would have been 10 times betterd!

PS, don't feel bad, when i got married the best man had to bail at the last minute!

Unfortunatey, tickets were bought by those going and everything is non refundable. It will be a great time, just sort of wonder if I should have chosen the other one given the current results.
