Help with Dell rebate - how to handle this

So, on the 1st of Jan, I ordered
DI-624 AirPlus Xtreme G High-Speed 108Mbps Wireless Router
DWL-G520 AirPlus Xtreme G High-Speed 108 Mbps Wireless PCI Adapter
from dell. they had a rebate going with this combo and we needed it, and wanted one last splurge before the baby was born for the computer. So we went for it.

I went to print the invoice out and it has the ship date as the purchase date-- the day after the rebate is over! So, do i call dell or the number on the rebate form? I want my $40 dammit!

Do you have the order confirmation email? It should have the date that you placed the order, not the day it shipped.

It does, but the rebate says to print the invoice. Will that email work for the rebate? Even the Order tracking on their site says I ordered on the 1st Now I remember why I hate dealing with rebates

I have used my acknowledgement emails before for rebates and they have been honored, but I'm not sure how strict D-Link will be when processing your rebate request.

You can try calling Dell to see if they will 1) give you the rebate amount or 2) give you an altered invoice.

Good luck though. Let us know what happens!
