So, today is New Year's Eve on the lunar calendar, thus tonight I will be heading to a Chinese New Year's function with my relatives. I was supposed to bring something for my grandmother tonight but I left it at home. So, after eating my quick lunch here at work, I hopped in my car and headed back home on the glorious 101-North. I get on...instant traffic. Nobody moving. Not a single lane. Now, I live 7 miles away from where I work, so I figure I can wait it out. Not too far. 10 minutes pass, nothing...That's when I get off the highway and return to work so I'm not late.

Yes, that's right. Cars fell OFF a car transport truck blocking all of the lanes. Does this remind anyone of Bad Boys II? Yeah, I hope that the people trapped in that one car are okay though. I've got the TV turned on now to see if they televise it.

Downside is I have to stop by my place before I drive up to Ventura county after work. The upside is, I saw one of the LAPD S.W.A.T. team buses hauling ass up the 170...Just like in the movie S.W.A.T.
