Well without a doubt I'm freaking incensensed. The paranoid, insominiac side of me has wondered before what I would/should do in such situations, but all I thought when the jackass had something that was shiny and metal, and oddly pointed at my neck was "be cool, let him have whatever he wants."

The jackass was yelling "get outta the car, homey" incestantly while I was telling "chill out, I'm getting out man, I'm getting out"

WTF was I thinking?! Leaving the freaking door open and answering the cell phone after I started the engine?! What the hell. I guess I just assumed nobody was dumb enough to carjack me or steal from me, because I never dress too flashy. Damn, a freaking '97 Civic DX 2DR and he jacks it along with a wallet with just one freaking measly dollar bill in there. To cap things off for me, I had SSN card in there because some freaking anal up-tight bureaucrat yelled at me before for not carrying it around with me, to top it off 4 credit/check cards, my license and bunch of stuff with sentimental value in that freaking wallet. My 40GB iPod is gone, my sunglasses, an expensive leather bound Bible that my brother got for me a few years back, and who knows what else. Luckily homeowner's insurance will cover that stuff, but crap.

It's been over 7 hours since it happened and I'm still stewed.

I was wondering if you could retrofit a remote control on a key or something so that as soon as you get out of the car and the hijacker takes off, the air bag would deploy.

I'm sure that would go against federal safety standards for drivers and passengers. However, I still like my ideas of adding flame throwers to the sides of my car in the event something like this happens.

Hope you can catch the mother effer who did this to you. Just don't forget to file the police reports, cancel your credit cards, debit cards, etc etc.

That just happened here in Charlotte to a city council member. His car was stolen so the police called Onstar and they tracked the vehicle and pulled up just as two 16 year olds were getting out of it.

Yeah, Fontana Police caught the fag.

So I had to drive to Fontucky just to pick it up and pay $190 just for the privelege of picking it up, no real damage to car except for the stink. He must have spilled his 40 in there or something cause it reaks of cheap alcohol and cheap cologne.

No expensive Bible in sight, (probably sold it to someone to roll joints with)
No iPod and accesories in sight, (probably fenced it! )
No engraved Zippo in sight
No adaptors and extension kit for the accesories jack.

But he left his freaking hoodie and wifebeater in there.

He told the arresting officer to convey to me how sorry he was. Sorry my ass, he's just sorry he got caught. I'm still freaking pissed, and feel like going shooting to relieve the stress.

My dad and brother are laughing their asses of at how stupid this guy was to car jack a seven year old Honda Civic DX and take my wallet which only had one freaking dollar in there.

I can't even drive my own recovered car because I have no license with which to drive with.

Insurance won't help with anything because the damages and losses are way under their deductibles, which leaves me standing with nothing now. What I would love to do with that bastard right now. A freaking screwdriver, if I had realized it, I would've crushed his hand with the door and ran him over for good measure.

My deductible for the car insurance is $500 and for the home insurance to replace all the "non-car" items will run $1000. So on both ends I'm screwed. He only used up a lot of gas and stank up my car and cost me the freaking impound fees (it's a racket!!!). The iPod, Bible, accesories and what not at max run about $800, I'm better off paying out of pocket which still bugs the hell out of me. Hopefully AppleCare or Citibank (which I used to buy the iPod) hopefully have a replacement policy.

Eh, I still want to go to the trial and pummel his ass.

some of the other anti-carjack methods i heard of in South Africa
were electrified door handles, spring-loaded swords under the car that swing out and chop off an unsuspecting carjacker's feet, and shotguns mounted under the driver's seat. dunno if any of these methods were ever used effectively though.

As we were returning from Fontana in my car, I told my brother, I should seek out his cellmate and make it so that he could never sit properly ever again, but then my brother said he'd probably get butt raped anyways for car jacking a seven year old unmodified Civic and stealing a wallet with only $1 and maxed out credit cards. Idiot has just lost several years of his life to cell time and probation for stealing crap that was near worthless on the street. Ofcourse, the arresting officer relayed in a rather snide and fecitious manner that the perp had explained he was "on the last ropes" having been out of his home for over one week. Jeez, honestly, I've been through times like that, but I don't go out do dumb crap like this.

as far as the cop relayed to you...
you should have told the cop to F off and that guy plain and simply threatened your life and stole the car. then tell him to F off again

Nah, the cops were all cool. But that doesn't matter now.

I just got back from the freeway, where my car was totaled as I was going to church.

It's been an interesting week to say the least. God's teaching me a major lesson in humility, and something else, except I'm just not sure. I never considered myself invincilbe, so there must be something.

The cosmic irony of it all for me this week is just mind boggling.

Like psycho says, it happens, and I survived. Two life or death situations this week and survived both. Can't ask for much else.

You know what, I never thought about that angle. However, way back when, when I was complaining to my friend about how much I hate my car, he offered to commit insurance fraud on my behalf. Ofcourse, I quickly dissuaded him.

Dude, I wish I was "Unbreakable", I don't feel so unbreakable at the moment.

Well now my this adventure has turned into a NSS experience.

Last Thursday I drove off the lot with a brand spankin new Honda Accord LX V6 sedan. I didn't mention it because the loan wasn't yet approved and had no intention of jinxing it with the current streak of luck I've had. 240hp without all the hp adding rice sticker.

Anyways, I just had to gloat about my new car.
