Smile NSS: Got my fed taxes done today

I got my federal taxes completed today. Yippie!!!!! Anyone else get theirs done? Does everyone know you can go to irs.gov and link to online turbotax to do your fed taxes and file your return with e-file for FREE?!?!?!?? That is what I did. It was a great deal, the math was done for me so there is 0% chance of calculation errors, it was free, and it was easy.

Got mine done a while ago to quailify for financial aid for school, but I owed a few hundred to the Feds but luckily nothing else to the state. I think I pay enough in sales and vehicles tax, but then again, that's just me.

I finished mine as soon as I got my W2. I'm usually a terrible procrastinator, but I actually took care of this early this year. I highly reccommend the HR Block site.

Usually your state tax dept waits until the feds ok your fed return before they will ok your state return. Just a thought.

Did mine a couple of weeks ago, but just filed last weekend. TurboTax had a bug in my state tax form that got fixed.

Getting a small refund back from federal, but a good chunk o' change from state.
