ss: I am an idiot!!! Destroyed my printer...
DAMNNNN!!! Never trust anyone besides the people here at gotapex. Someone told me that a good way to clean printheads was to soak in methanol. I bought some from the hardware store today and soaked the printer head in it for 5 hours. Came back and the plastic housing had melted! It was litterally melted and soft to the touch. I am an idiot. Any suggestions on cheap inkjet printers? It was an S500 if anyone has any spare print heads...

Hardware store on the corner. How dangerous is it? I stored it under my kitchen sink and I am thinking that maybe that was a bad idea?

I keep a bottle of 90% isopropyl in my computer desk. It doesn't melt stuff near as readily as methanol.
Next time, try acetone. NOT!
