Has anyone else run into a problem with Dell cancelling your orders?
A week ago I used one of the coupons posted here for a good deal on a color laser printer (the 3100cn). I've been wondering where the printer was, and keeping in mind that you have to sign for a Dell package when UPS comes to your place. So I checked the status today, and the order is missing from my order history. I go to the e-mail I received from them confirming the order, enter the data (order and customer number), and sure enough - they cancelled it. Anyone else??? |

I have only had this happen once, and it was because they entered my credit card number wrong over the phone...Hope it works out for ya.

The problem I am having looks to be due to using too many coupon codes (seriously!).
Friends come to me when they want a new PC, time and time again. I've been partial to Dell, so I've bought quite a few systems though small business. Makes for a really good deal when Dell does not have free shipping at their outlet store... I just bill shipping to my UPS account for actual cost. Right now they have free shipping on PCs over $350 - oh the bargains on PCs UNDER $350! They are starting in the low $200s, with Dimension 4700s under $300. Dell did send me a "account under review" e-mail. IOW don't call us, we'll call you. |
