SS: Getting Sick
My sore throat from yesterday afternoon progressed to stealing most of my voice overnight. I'm hiding out in another office away from co-workers just in case this is not merely sinus problems.
I'd hate to get them sick for Turkey Day. I had to be at work today to work on my part of a big project, so I put an extended absence greeting on my phone then forwarded my line to voice mail. That should free me up to finish my work, as long as I can stay awake. |

I can atest to that Jenny. I spent 7 Christmas's in a row sick. I try really hard not to get sick at Christmas anymore because of all the Grandparents. Can't get them sick.

Thanks for the words of encouragement. The sinus/cold problem worked its way down to my chest overnight.
The good news is that the sore throat is mostly gone. ![]() I used to get sick at Christmas every year too, until my allergist told me to get rid of the "mold spore" I bring in each year after thanksgiving. He told me that I wasn't reacting to the needles on my fresh cut Christmas tree, it's the mold spores that are on all fresh trees. After I switched to artificial, I haven't had a Christmas cold/sinus problem. |
