Garageband now near utter complete suckage

Well just got this e-mail today:

What this means, however, is that you have just 1 month to cash in your existing Frequent Reviewer Points. After 8th October 2000 the Frequent Reviewer Point program will be no more. Consider this email a 30-day heads up.

So grab yourself a t-shirt. Or a CD burner. Or, erm, a body piercing session.

You can earn as many additional points as you like between now and September 31st. So if you need to a few more points to get that big prize - get to it. May we suggest you top up your points by reviewing some tracks in garageband.com's "Little Nicky" contest. You'll help decide which new band gets featured in Adam Sandler's upcoming movie. If you decide not to cash in your Frequent Reviewer Points, we will transfer your old points into the new rewards program up to a maximum value of approximately $18. So if you have more than $18 of Frequent Reviewer Points, the smart idea is to cash them in for a prize under the existing program. (Good luck working this out).

One last thing. You'll be glad to hear that we continue to deny prizes to the small minority of unwelcome visitors who try and cheat the system. We have sophisticated filters running behind the scenes - and we do enjoy letting cheaters know where they stand when they try and claim their prize So to avoid the review police review fairly. Don't cut and paste the same boring comments. Listen to each track for at least 90 seconds. Play nice!

Man. . . no more amazon gc's. I'm guessing they're new "trouser-troublingly exciting" pay program is going to be something like one review equals half a cent or something. . . Oh well I got $150 of gc's so far, by the end of the month maybe I can pick up another 200 or so. . .
