When I shut down through 98 my machine shuts down but then starts back up. I recently flashed the bios, installed 98, and SB platinum but it worked for a couple days afterwards. Now I notice that the power button on the front when pushed the first time acts like a reset button and must be pushed twice to actually turn off. Is this a result of some BIOS setting or power failer on the motherborard. I don't understand why I did not notice it at first. Without backtracking I thought someone here may be able to answer what is going on.

There must be a setting switch in your bios setting somewhere.
