Angry

I recently purchased a Super blaster PC bundle from tigerdirect and got screwed!!

Includes:
Blaster PC Kit
Intel Pentium III — 900MHz
30GB 7200 RPM Hard Drive
3.5" Floppy Drive
128MB PC133 SDRAM
Creative Labs 12x DVD / 40x CD
Creative Labs 8x4x32x CDRW
32MB TNT2 M64 AGP Video
CyberAcoustics 5-Piece Speakers
For $750!!!!

The thing is.. when I got it at my door.. I immediately assembled it. But the damn thing didn't work. GRRRrr.. At first I was okay.. and thought I might have made a mistake so I went through and looked at it again. Everything seemed okay.. but it didn't work. I couldn't even get the computer started.. nothing on the monitor. So then I called Tech support.. oh what great help they were.. making me unplug then plug everything back in. Still no results.. so I decided to take it to a local computer technician. He said he has no clue why it doesn't work.. so I called Tigerdirect if I can return it. They told me.. no! I was like what the hell!?!?!? Even explaining my situation to them.. they said all we can do is let you talk to tech support.. isn't that the most load of crap you ever heard of.

Then I got my brother to call.. he was kinda pissed off.. and Tigerdirect told him.. the only thing they can do is replace the parts that are not working, but tigerdirects tech support has to confirm it.. what a bunch a crap. By the time I get through with tech support.. my 30 warranty will run out.. so what can i do. Thats why I'm here asking.. please if you have any suggestions please help me!!

First guess would be the powersupply is either lose or bad.

Ok first of all they really didn't screw you over, i've never heard of them screwing anybody.
Second of all you should know that when you are buying parts for a new PC and put it together, you take the risk of screwing something up, i mean think about it if you were a vendor, and some shmich came up and said i want parts for a computer and i will put it together, and for the sake of the argument let's say that this person does not know how to put the computers together, Now this dude put's it together and puts the FSB to like 200mhz and his system burns out... now is the vendor responsible??? NO
Now what you should do is test the components one by one
1)power supply
2)MOBO
and then cal em and replace what's broken.

Oh yea check that it's pluged in to the outlet

Basically dude your right your screwed... but it's not Tiger Directs fault
They
A. Never gauranteed it would work
B. Didn't ever test it themselves
C. Just sold you parts same as if you would have bought it from 500 different companies.
D. Are doing their best to try to help you figure out the problem.

Basically dude start with your Power Supply... ask a good friend to borrow his and see if your comp will start up. If it does then send back the PS and tell TigerDirect they sent you a defective PS. Then go to the motherboard try everthing you got with someone elses motherboard if it works on the friends system return the motherboard. Then go piece by piece testing everything yourself and when you find out what's wrong send just that part back.

If your too lazy to do that, send everything back and get them to check it... they'll probably charge you.

Don't hate the man HATE THE SYSTEM
