I have my mom's Sony CCD-TRV12 Video8 camera here and I want to take a movie I have on one of her tapes. Problem is I want to put it on my PC first. Not just to VCR.
I found a cable that fits into the camera in a spot labeled "LANC" then from there it plugs into one of my pc ports. Real small little ports, that screws in. Don't know what it's called, but I have two on here. One fits my Olympus Digital Cam. Is there a way I can take this movie off of here with win 98? I have a firewire card and digital camcorder, but can't find a way to connect the two and then to the pc. Suggestions please!?? Thank you! |

Uhm, I'm not exactly quite sure on what you just typed but, I'm guessing that camera doesn't have a firewire output. If it does, just hook it up to the firewire card. But if it doesn't, you'll need a capture card that has analog inputs.
