When i play dvd's on my computer only the actual movie doesn't have part of the movie picture not centered on the screen. All the other features on the DVD i can't watch because it seems like the picture is too big for the monitor. i have a 21" monitor. Is there a way to fix this so i can watch the extra features from the DVD and see the whole screen? thanks.

What type of player are you using? Is it hardware or software decoding?

I looked everywhere on my computer and can't find what kind of dvd player it is. don't know hardware i got either. I try to look through the computer book to see maybe. Are movies supposed to be too big for the screen when playing on the computer? Every movie i've played, plays fine but the extra features and the startup screen all are too big for the computer. you only can view half of the screen.
Don't know if this matters at all but my video card is really old. came with my computer a few years ago. but shouldn't be the problem because i got the dvd player with it. STB nvidia 8mb video card. [Edited by stjustorm83 on 06-06-2001 at 05:30 PM] |
