I've got a computer here; everytime windows starts up it gives me a popup saying "ISDN Device not installed, need to run wizard" or something along those lines. This computer only has a modem. Anyone know how I can get rid of this message?

No ISDN devices in your Device manager? In your networksettings, only the modem you have installed shows up? No weird program in your Load@Startup folder? And so on... Seek and you shall find! Or maybe forget all about the normal modems and get ADSL! Clauzii, DK...

Well I know all about those things I should look for. The problem is, is that I'm helping a friend over email and that person isn't very computer savvy.
I was hoping for a more precise answer because of the cirumstance, however, thanx for the info. |

OK, Have you let him search the registry for any ISDN drivers that load at startup: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/System/CurrentControlSet/Control/InstalledFiles Clauzii, DK... |
