Please help with a7v133 prob !!!!

alright, heres my problem, i have the a7v133 mobo and i just bought a new 1ghz cpu. I put cpu into slot, add HSF and boot up, but i get no display and no beep code. So i take out all pci cards except for video, still no display and no beep, i take out video card and no beep. I EVEN take out RAM and get no beeps. What could be the problem? Could it be the CPU, or the mobo?

Check the motherboard power connector. Disconect it and reconnect it if neccesary.
If you already have power running to the MB you are probably screwed. Sounds like it might have been fried. There is a small chance it is grounded out, check how it is sitting in the case and make sure no errant screws are touching it.

But how is that possible? I took in my computer to the store 3 weeks ago cause i had a cpu problem(i fried my cpu), they took out my cpu, and put in a new one to see if the comp still worked and it did, it still sent into BIOS and all. I took the comp home without my fried cpu which they sent to AMD, and i left my comp alone for the 3 weeks....now i get my new cpu and the comp still dont work. Now whats do u think?
