a friend of mine is having a problem with his computer.
when he starts his computer it goes into windows then hangs for around 5 minutes. i isolated the problem to vredir.vxd by diabling different things one at a time through msconfig. i installed new drivers for his network card, which fixed the problem for like a day and now its back and it wont go away. his computer runs fine if we leave it disabled but he can't use any home networking stuff. anyone have a solution short of backing stuff up and formatting? |

Try fixing the vxd again and setting it to read only.
