OK. So I download a MP3 track and it has this for a name:
"track No. 5". I went into Window Media Player not WinAmp and edited to the name that I want. WMP is showing exactly the name I want. But, when I close the player and started it up again, the track name is reverted to track No. 5again. It's not showing up the name that I want. Any clues how I can do it? The track is NOT copyright protected. |

You will need to edit the mp3 info file, which Winamp will allow you to do. I honestly can't say if WMP can do that because I don't use that POS.

make sure you edit both the id3v1 and id3v2. sometimes only the id3v2 is edited and some programs only read the id3v1 info.
