Hi guys,
I just tried to install some software for my CD-R, but after I installed it, my CD-ROMS were no longer recognized in win 2k. I checked the properties of the drives in device manager and it says that my registry might possibly be corrupt. Any one got any ideas? The software I was trying to install was CD extreme. Any ideas on what to do with the registry? |

I tried uninstalling it and that had no affect. I've also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drives through device manager and I've had no luck. Got any other suggestions?

just a Q.. did you restart after uninstalling the soft???... if not try that.... |

Yeah I've restarted everytime I've tried to uninstall and reinstall, win 2k says that you have to restart each time. So I've restarted probably 10-15 times already. Anyone know where the info for the CD ROMS is stored in the registry? Any other ideas?
Thanks |
