Hi guys,

I just tried to install some software for my CD-R, but after I installed it, my CD-ROMS were no longer recognized in win 2k. I checked the properties of the drives in device manager and it says that my registry might possibly be corrupt. Any one got any ideas? The software I was trying to install was CD extreme. Any ideas on what to do with the registry?

I tried uninstalling it and that had no affect. I've also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drives through device manager and I've had no luck. Got any other suggestions?

Yeah I've restarted everytime I've tried to uninstall and reinstall, win 2k says that you have to restart each time. So I've restarted probably 10-15 times already. Anyone know where the info for the CD ROMS is stored in the registry? Any other ideas?

Thanks
