I'm running my comp on Win 2000 pro and I have a Sandisk Imagemate CF reader attached to one of the USB ports. After I download pics from my CF card to my comp, I close all my apps, and select eject card from the taskbar icon.
It always says it's now safe to remove your card and I shut down. But as soon as I boot up my comp again, I always get an "unsafe USB device removal" msg. Anybody know what the deal is with that? Thanks in advance for any suggestions, ideas, or help. Doog. |

I'm not sure if I use the unplug hardware tool, but after I eject the card, I right click on the CF reader's icon and select unplug hardware. Is that what you're referring to?
The thing is, even after I do that, the message keeps popping back up after I restart my computer. |
