I have a afreey dvd-rom drive, and for some reason it is not recognized anymore by the bios. I am able to open and close the drive, and the light also blinks when i put in a cd rom. The only problem is that the drive is not being detected by the operating system or the bios.
Please Help!!! |

The cable is a good cable, the problem lies in the drive. The jumpers are set corectly. The web site of www.afreey.com is not to great and the problem is not listed thier. They say to email them if the drive stops working. I did that 2 times about a month ago and once again today, and they do not reply to me.
