CD-R Question In WinXP
Hello.
I recently retired an old PC and moved to a new one using WinXP Pro. I had XP Pro on the old machine and using an Iomega 12x CD-R, I was able to write directly to a CD-R (without installing Direct CD) and on my new machine I have a Plextor 24x writer and that function is gone. I have the latest firmware on the drive and always perform Windows update. Also, the drive works fine with CD Creator 5. Anyone have any thoughts? |
