I'm assuming you want to connect them for extra ports right? Most routers enable you to turn off functions such as DHCP and what not to make it an overpriced switch.

i just wanted to link another computer. my cousin moved in with me and my 4 port router is full so I was just wondering if I can just buy a 2 port router and connect it to my 4 port router.

Buy a switch or hub. No need for a router and I doubt they sell 2 port routers, I believe they start at 1 port (enterprise level junk) then the jump to 4. Routers handle the data, switches and hubs just provide a way for the data to flow.

Heh, that question should be answered by the enyclopaedic minds of Apex or some other person more well versed. I'd recommend you get a switch if you have heavy network traffic, i.e. filesharing, multiplayer games, and downloading. Get something by Netgear if you want a sturdy equipment, otherwise Linksys or D-link should put a smaller dent on your pockets.

Send a message via MSN to Jeffbx
Try this one - http://www.cdw.com/shop/products/default.asp?EDC=173399

You can probably find it cheaper than at CDW, tho...
