I am building a new AMD athlon system with and FIC SD11 mobo, when I turn it on,it starts up,but nothing comes on the moniter,I belive I have everything hooked up right,what would cause this?

Do you have a PC speaker plugged into the Motherboard? If you do, is it making any beeps and how many?

Something you might want to try is remove all the components from the computer except for the CPU, RAM, and Video card. That shortens the list of components that could be causing the problem for you.

Yeah I have the PC speaker plugged in,it doesnt beep at all,I hit the power switch and the fans and hard drive start up and then it just sits there..no video display either.Think the mobo is jacked?

I would guess that either the mobo is bad, or it is grounding out on the case somewhere. It is still possible that it is the other hardware in the computer (cpu-ram-video), but very unlikely since you are not recieving any beep codes.

It could also be your powersupply athlons don't like anything less than 250
