Some jerk installed the GoHip browser add-on on my comp while I was out of the room and I can get rid of it. Every time i reboot it reinstalls itself. Anyone know how to get rid of it?

Thanks

I really hate programs that change and/or mess up your settings and programs without you being notified at all. AOL's latest browser 5.0 does the same sort of thing. I also despise jerks who do crap like that also.

Flashcommerce amongst other sites has discussed Gohip's freaking addon nuisance

This page at go.hip tells you how to rid yourself of this annoyance

Finally it is my recommendation for you to get more security for your computer (if you already haven't done so) Foobag. So as to avoid similiar or even worse incidents (like a destructive virus } in the future as well as control who who has access to your computer. Unfortunately 98 comes with pathetic easily bypassed security.
