Hi everyone,
My computer is giving me a bad time. (Nothing unusual) Everytime I shutdown, it goes through the whole process, "windows is shutting down" etc. But, the screen blinks, and within a sec, it restarts again! I don't know what to do! Anyone else experience this? |

I have heard that trying to shut down while programs are running can cause problems like this. Try using ctrl alt del to make sure you don't have a virus scanner or something running in the background.

another microsoft "fix" to this problem is to disable "fast shutdown". go into MSCONFIG and click the ADVANCED button and check the box for "disable fast shutdown" - this fixes the problem only on about 1/3 of the computers, tho, i have found
