Anyone know to stop the pop up windows when you close a window in MSIE 5.0? I can't stand those sites where after every window you close it pops up 2 more "spam" websites.

I know in netscape if you disable java or javascript (I think its javascript but I can't remember for sure) it will stop those windows. I imagine IE has a similar setting in the advanced tab in internet options but I have never looked for it before.

i know this doesnt' really help but i remember seeing a program that prevented that a couple months ago, try searching for it on www.winfiles.com , www.tucows.com and www.downloads.com

Hey now....why is everyone picking on me now. Ok I admit it I goto strip clubs every so often, but no I don't sit around all day and do the "porn" thing. There I admit it, I like to go and have a few drinks with some friends and watch people dance. Is that a crime....well maybe in Oklahoma hehe

Humm ya...i take it you've never been to a strip club. You got all the women dancing and then all the drunks dancing beside them. I'm just happy the drunks don't take anything off or I may have to stop going.

Apparently one wayyy too many. A porn site too far (reminiscent of a bridge too far). One solution is to have two computers (or more) side by side cruising the porn sites. Which I never do of course.
