Unhappy

when I type in www.gotapex.com I get redirected to 3dfiles.com. When this first happened I thought my favorite site shut down!!! But at work I am able to come to the site(obviously). Does this have something to do with DNS?

This has everything to do with DNS. Either your home ISP sucks and doesn't ever update its DNS entries or it is forwarding you to 3dfiles.com for some reason.

I suggest calling them and saying "what the ***** is wrong with your *** DNS server!". Of course they will hang up on you, so call back and say "uhh...gotapex.com isn't working". This will annoy your ISP because it gives them no usefull information. Whenever they ask you a question, answer with a completely useless fact.

Them : So you are unable to access the web site www.gotapex.com?

You : I'm having problems with email.

Them : You can't send email to gotapex.com?

You : I like bacon.

This is the easy way to make tech support want to come over to your house and beat the bacon out of you. Have Fun.

Also, before you state your problem, be sure to berate their customer support and complain about you connect speed. This will let them know you're a dissatisfied customer that needs immediate attention!

Heck...why not just park a Ryder truck outside of the main buliding. Maybe that will get their attention. Humm maybe that's just me.
