I am currently on a DSL but the it's getting access from the company so it has a huge FIREWALL annoying as hell I was wondering if anyone could help me somewhat bypass the firewall so I can actually get onto AIM and ICQ stuff like that the firewall right now only allows http access anyone know how to adjust it so it will use the same configurations but as a SOCKS proxy?

Hoo boy. Good luck. I've heard there are web interfaces to ICQ and/or AIM around somewhere, you may want to look for those.
Have you tried asking the admin to open specific ports? |

Being a Network Admin and a port scanner, I understand your need. But you have to realize why the firewall is there in there in the first place. Defiantly talk to your admin and ask for help first or if it is even ok. If not you may get into some serious stuff.
