Question

was wondering if anyone else lives where they cant get DSL,Cable and cant afford ISDN, and is using multilink in win98. I have this weekend as a 'try out' from my local isp, and I get 96000 bps connections using 2 sportsters, but the only speed-up I've seen is a slight gain in web page loading. Pings in Q3 and UT are even worse than one modem! and downloads are about the same. Just wondering if I'm missing something, the ISP says they have the hardware for multilink(duh, new modems ), but it just isn't pulling it all down like I thought it would.
Thanks

It sound like your service provider supports multilink, but isn't set up to make it work well. If your provider has redundant connections to the internet and/or has bandwidth problems or even if there are just bad phone lines in the area you are SOL.
