A freind of mine recently asked me how to recover a hard drive. I heard that the drive was being compressed.. I assume using drivespace and after that it was said as being unformated. Why someone would try to drivespace a drive with less then 10mb free and not backing up all the files is beyond me.
I was wondering if there is a software out there that can recover a harddrive. |

I know that there are undelete utilities but I am not sure how they would work in a situation like that. You can download demos at hotfiles.com Other than that I think you would have to take it to a data recovery company which probably wouldnt be worth it unless your friend has some really important files. I would try the util and maybe by then if it doesnt work people will have posted more ideas for you.
