Total Goof
Ok, I'm sure the guys (and gals) in this forum will think I am sooo not smart but.....
I want to make this: <A HREF='http://www.restaurant.com/index.asp?rpid=2507&raid=176'>SLICE, DICE, AND SKEWER YOUR DINING BILLS! Thousands of popular restaurants are offering food for a fraction of the cost at Restaurant.com. CLICK HERE and find restaurants near you.</A> Into a 'link' in my signature. Can someone PLEASE tell me how to do it? I can not, for the life of me, figure it out even with looking at the directions on how to make a link. ![]() |

You want to use " instead of ' in HTML.
However, you need to use a different code here: <url=http://whatever.com>Text to link</url> Replacing the < > with [ ]

Soooo.....is this right?
url=http://www.restaurant.com/index.asp?rpid=2507&raid=176]Cheap Eats[/url with a "[" at the beginning and a "]" at the end? I thought I may have did the link wrong because I could not see any 'click throughs' when I, myself, would click through using the link. Hmmm...maybe there is a 'lag' on their counter or something. Thanks! Last edited by INeedAVacation : 09-18-2004 at 08:56 AM. |
