try making your password randomly generated with a few CAPS, a few Nums, and a few Symbols. Eg. H@ck3rs$ucK
then see if he can do it again...

I know that yahoo used to store the password in your cookie, but you may have to check the box to sign in automatically.

Check the registry key here: I believe go to HKML, then Software>Microsoft>Windows NT>Current Version>Winlogon and look for an entry that says ginadll = <filename>

Did he need access to your computer to do it, or just your mail address? How did you know he got in - did he send mail from your account, actually tell you what your password is, or change your password?

Set the password to non-ascii characters if all will let you by holding alt and typing three numbers. ╚ is alt + 200, for example. Let's see if he can brute force that. If he figures it out, he's probably logging your keystrokes or has access to whereever your password is stored.
Did you check your computer for rogue administrator accounts? Right click on my computer, then manage and look at the local users and groups. You may want to change your windows passwords.

Sounds to me like he is just spoofing the address. Very easy to do. Have you looked at the full headers in the email to see if the message was actually sent via yahoo?

Send me your email address and an email address of a friend and I can easily fake a conversation between you. It's fun to do cause both parties are like wtf?!?!

I got a new issue of PC world i think and there's a 20-30 dollar program that will reveal your password if you pass the "magnifying glass" over a password represented as *. Very interesting if you let the computer store your password.

Change your password and tell him to send you an email from the account he hacked. Then open the email source, in the source code it should reveal where it is originated. If it's not from a yahoo server, lol he is bsing. If it is then hmmmm very intersting. Also, make sure you change your Yahoo secret question and all the personal info, in case he's too good of a friend and know too much about you so he can jus go to yahoo and retrieve lost pass or something.

maybe he's getting your pw reset by clicking on the forgot pw button and entering the information about you.
